GEORGIA police have opened a criminal investigation into the events that led to Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina lying unconscious and facedown in a bathtub after apparently suffering an overdose, a report said Friday.

The probe will focus on Bobbi’s boyfriend Nick Gordon — with whom Bobbi has a history of domestic violence, law-enforcement sources told TMZ.
Bobbi had injuries that raised suspicion, and investigators are looking into a possible altercation that took place over an hour before the aspiring singer was found in the bathtub in her home in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell, Georgia, the web site said.
The daughter of late pop queen Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown was found in the tub on January 31 by Gordon and another friend and has been in a medically-induced coma since then.
It was eerily similar to the way her mother died — the I Will Always Love You singer accidentally drowned in a bathtub inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11, 2012, with cocaine, Xanax, marijuana and muscle relaxant in her system.
TMZ said Gordon and Max Lomas, the friend who discovered Bobbi in the tub, both have lawyers and are refusing to speak with police.

Meanwhile, as Bobbi Kristina remained in a coma at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital, her father’s family got into a nasty brawl at a nearby hotel, US Weekly reported.
Bobby Brown’s sister Tina began brawling with her son Shayne over a valet parking ticket.
“Mr Brown stated that while arguing with his mother, she spit in his face and hit him on his head with a glass bottle,” according to a police report obtained by the magazine.
Bobbi had recently hinted at wanting to pursue her own music career.
“Promise to release some thangs for your enjoyment ... One thing you CAN depend on is my mother taught me well,” she tweeted.
